Airport and Transportation
The hotel is located 35 km from Noi Bai International Airport. Taxis are readily available at the airport for the trip to the hotel. Please take a registered taxi from the designated taxi rank outside the airport. The cost is about US $30. Not all taxis accept credit cards so be prepared to pay cash in local currency (Vietnamese Dong).
The hotel can provide private transfers from the airport. For transfers in a Mercedes, the cost is $65-$75. For transfers in a Toyota Camry or minivan the cost is about $60. Visa Requirements for Travel to Vietnam
Most visitors to Vietnam must obtain either an e-Visa or a visa in advance, unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries. Please see here for information on which countries are visa-exempt. Only 25 countries are exempt from the visa requirement.
Citizens of the USA require a visa to enter the country. An e-visa can be obtained here.
The Vietnam e-visa is valid for 90 days, single or multiple entries, and costs $25 for single or $50 for multiple entry.
Pre/Post Conference Hotel Reservations
ECI does not guarantee or pay for rooms reserved outside of the conference dates, however we will take your reservation and if you book pre/post conference dates, you will be held individually responsible for the cost of the additional nights at the hotel.
Melia Hanoi Hotel will extend the conference discount to attendees who would like to arrive early and/or stay after the conference dates in Vietnam.
