Abstract Information

Abstracts (one page maximum) that include specific results and conclusions to allow a scientific assessment of the proposed oral presentation are invited. Only a limited number of oral presentation slots are available; therefore, all submissions for oral sessions will automatically be considered for both oral and poster presentation.

Please choose up to two session topics from the session descriptions listed above.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically and prepared according to this template: docx or doc. 

Oral abstract submission deadline: January 15, 2026

Poster abstract submission deadline: January 30, 2026

  • Please include a 250-word highlight synopsis of the abstract for the online program description.
  • To ensure receipt of mailings regarding your submission, please add ‘do_not_reply@linklings.com‘ to your address book.
  • Abstracts of all presentations will be made available to conference participants prior to the start of the conference.
  • Awards will be presented to the top student posters.

Poster Guidelines

  • The best posters display a succinct statement of major conclusions at the beginning, followed by supporting text in later segments and a brief summary at the end. Click here for instructions and more information.
  • Poster Size: 1.0 meter wide and 1.5 meters in length (Portrait style).

  • New Entry/Exit System for European Union

    The European Union (EU) has introduced a new entry/exit system for travel into and out of the Schengen area that will use biometrics and facial recognition for border crossings. It replaces the manual passport-stamp system with electronic registration of entries, exits and refusals. As it is rolled in, there may be delays as biometric data is collected.
